Alan Shih

Alan J. Shih is a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of experience in digital media, private equity and financial services. Alan spent years at EY budgeting, planning and executing audit procedures of publicly traded companies primarily in the healthcare and sporting industry, including favorite clients like the Boston Red Sox and the company that became Equinox.

He turned that love of sports and financial analysis into a career that brought him to Google, where he helped launch multiple innovative new partnerships. Alan played a key role as an early employee leading analytics and data analysis a digital sports start-up that he helped scale from launch to a nine figure valuation with investors and equity holders that included NBC, Sky Sports, the NFL and Major League Baseball. He joined GovSourcing after serving as Chief Financial Officer at digital streaming platform Sala.Live. Alan also served as the CEO of a digital analytics, advertising and marketing firm that helped launch and scale new eCommerce companies, regularly securing a 10X return on cross platform advertising spend.

As GovSourcing’s chief financial officer at GSS, Alan manages the accounting, financial and administrative operations of the company. He helps ensure the financial integrity of the firm by establishing and maintaining sound financial policies and procedures. Alan plays a key role in the company's strategic financial planning, preparing its annual budget and developing financial tools for use by the GovSourcing team, helping them solve challenges for chief procurement officers across the country.

Alan holds a degree in finance and accounting from Boston College. He was born in Ohio, raised in the Dominican Republic and lives in New York City.
